GOOD NEWS! I lost almost 2 pounds on my first day

Today, I found out that all the bags of potatoes weigh 5 pounds. So if I can remove, say, 1 pound from each bag, I will have 4 pounds. I can estimate.

So today was a whole bag of what was left of the big red potatoes. I cleaned them, cut them up, put them in casserole dishes, added a little water, covered with foil and cook for an hour at 400.

They came out really well. They are so delicious.

But my stomach is in shock or something. It's right on the border of nausea, and is not motivating me to eat many potatoes. I can't finish my lunch portion, which was a small Thai bowl with about 20 chunks of the cooked red potatoes in there.

Now there is a HUGE entire casserole dish full of potatoes already cooked. It is a very huge amount. I am a big eater, but something about this way of eating is making me not want to eat, even tho the potatoes are absolutely delicious, even without salt or butter.

Oh, the guy that lost 110 pounds I think it was, he put butter and salt and all kinds of stuff on his baked potatoes. I guess he was losing weight so fast, he could do that.

I am only on this diet for one reason. About 2 months ago, after having lost 70 pounds and having no idea how I did that (which is weird) the weight stayed right in place for almost 2 years, then started to go UP! 'By the time it was up by 12 pounds, I got scared.

So I tried every diet. Dukan, all meat, low carb, no carb, eating 100 calories every 90 minutes, anything there was, I tried it. I would give it a week and if nothing happened, I switched to another diet.

If this potato diet doesn't work, I am going to have to invent something that involves starvation, because I was writing down the times, and quantities and exactly what I was eating, on those diets and NEVER cheated. Wasn't even tempted to cheat because of how scared I was.

Yes, I had my thyroid checked. Everything.

So, oh POTATO DIET, come through for me!
